Tsunami warning after quake hits Sumatra

A tsunami warning has been issued after a magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck Indonesia’s Sumatra Island. The US Geological Survey said the quake was centred in the Indian Ocean around 100 miles from the coastal town of Padang.  It had a depth of 21 miles below the surface. More soon …
